Since I was little I have been fascinated with interiors, gardens, architecture, photography, art and design and how to better organise a home. Coupled with my love of cooking, entertaining, general organisation and management.

A beautifully styled, original, interesting, organised yet lived in home brings me joy, as does helping people to create their own stunning spaces.

My family were forever coming home to find me rearranging the furniture and décor in our house, this passion has never left me and was always encouraged by my parents. Growing up visiting other peoples homes was exciting to me and I would always want a tour where I would make suggestions and ask questions and then want to rearrange and organise things. This may have been annoying to the owner of the home, especially since I was so little but I thought I was so clever and helpful. My Dad was very encouraging and would hire me to rearrange and organise his office. I have aunties that would let me restyle their homes and so on, and before long I was rearranging and styling my friends' bedrooms, play rooms and studies.

After high school I studied Art and Design, Photography and Visual Arts Management with ideas of becoming a Gallery Curator, instead after four years of study I accepted a job as the Approved Manager of The Newport Hotel in Fremantle. I proudly ran the pub for over a decade, learning more about people and what they want and need than I think I could have learned anywhere else.

After having my son Max, I realised that my obsession with interiors, design, styling and organising homes had never left me and felt this was the perfect time to create my own business, Phaedra’s Style. Seven years on I love that I get to help my clients create beautifully styled, organised homes they can be proud of in every sense.
